To morrow we will celebrate Christmas Eve. Think about it...to morrow night people all over the world are celebrating Jesus, the Son of God, who was born to live among us. I think that is incredible! Some may not belive Jesus was born at all...they rather think that it's just a sweet fairy tale.. If the majority of the world population think this way, I find it is incredible as well! Because then we have people all over the world getting free from their job for just one reason- to celebrate a Jesus-baby from a fairy tale...No, it is not a fairy tale! Jesus was born in Betlehem for you and me, for the humanity! That is the reality and the truth!
Let us honor Him in this time of the year, and thank Him for all He has done for us!
I wish you all a Mary Christmas and a Happy New Year:=)

Therefore we visited the prison with a youthteam from the church in Tartu(you can see those precious people on the picture!) We wanted the prisoners to get a taste of christmas. Around 75 prisoners gathered in a gymhall and listened to us. So we were singing several christmas-songs for them. And it sounded so good! Then Anette testified..very good! One of the guys on our team testified as well. Earlier he actually stayed in prison for 4 years. He really know what this prisonlife is all about. But then he spoke of how God got hold of His life and changed it in a tremendous way! When you looked at the prisoners, you could see they were touched by this testimony. In the end I was sharing what christmas is all about- the reality of it. The presence of God was there the whole time. I believe all the prisoners were touch by God, through songs and the different words that were spoken.
When we were finished performing, we went down to the kitchen together with all the prisoners. The reason was, that we had made ready cakes and mullet claret(gløgg) for them! They enjoyed this very much. And when they had finishing eating and drinking, we gave a christmas gift for every single prisoner...(a chocolate and a card with a bibleverse and a greeting from the youths)
We had a wonderful time to day. By doing all of this, we're showing that we do care for them, and that we wanted to bless them! We talked to some of the guys in the prison, and they were so thankful- it meant a lot to them. I am so excited for the coming year, and the time I will have in the prison. God is so good, so merciful and faithful! He can change the life of everyone, and I am ever thankful for it!!
After living one year in America, I also experinced what American-christmas is all about. It really means you need to wear sunglasses in nighttime, because the christmaslights are hanging EVERYWHERE! But after seeing christmas in Tartu, I'm realizing that estonians are about to follow up those americans..! On this picture you can see the City Hall in Tartu, decorated with christmans lights.
You should have been here...

Yeah! Here you see the master chef! You may think that pizza is the only thing I can make? And you have absolutely right. Or, let me think..I have actually made some spagetti and some caserolle(?)...not too bad, is it?
I talked to my mum the other day, and she convinced me to try to make some fish..and I took the chance. You can't believe it! It turned out to be, what I call, a fenomenal dinner. It tasted just marvellous! But then..I tried to repeat my sucsess in the end of this week. I did excatly the same as the first time. My expectations was so high..I was even proud of myself. But then I closed my eyes and took my first taste...juikkyææææææ! I was about to collapse. Something went wrong..
So from now on, I'II stick to my safe and always tasteful PIZZA! By the way, it is good that it is a norwegian girl(Anette), that sometimes invites me home for dinner. Then I have the chance to taste something else than Estonian pizza..So now you have seen some glimps of my food conditions on the missionfield:)
